PAM Collated Deck Screws Offer High Torque, No Waste Design To Eliminate Common Problems
PAM Autofeed Screw System and Composite Collated Screws
PAM Fastening Technology offers a line of PAMFAST™ Magni-coated collated composite deck screws that when used with the PAM Auto Feed system eliminate many common problems and reduced the time required for installation. In addition, the resulting deck has a more consistent countersink for all the screws meaning a cleaner, more attractive deck surface every time.
The PAMFAST™ Composite Deck Screws have a special head design that eliminates “mushrooming” of the composite deck during installation and a dual thread that pulls the deck board and joist together more tightly. Unlike most other composite deck screws, the PAMFAST™ collated screw does not require pre-drilling meaning time savings that are noticeable on every job. The system reduces work hours and ensures uniformity of the countersink and when used with the extension pole means no bending over to insert the screw.
The thread design reduces driving torque by over 23% versus other comparable screws resulting in no wobble or waste and a considerably longer lasting bit.
Available in four coated colors: brown, red, tan, gray, as well as stainless steel, The PAMFAST™ composite deck screws resist corrosion and rust and color match with most decking materials. The screws are available in #10 by 2 ½ inch and #10 by 3 inch sizes.
The PAMFAST™ composite deck screw is designed for use with PAM’s P13 Autofeed Screwdriver System that uses collated screws to quickly attach deck boards. The PAMFAST™ composite screw can also be used with other Autofeed Systems including Milwaukee, Senco, Grabber, Hitti and Hitachi brands. They are also designed for use with products such as TREX®, CHOICE DECK®, WEATHERBEST®, NEXWOOD®, EPOCH® and EVERGREEN®.
These screws are part of the PAM Fastening Technology’s family of fastening systems that include a wide variety of collated screws for use in their Autofeed Screw System in multiple applications including drywall, roof tile, subfloor and wood decking (treated and exotic lumbers).
PAM Fastening Introduces The 700KD Hot Melt Cartridge Applicator For High Performance Bonding
PAM 700KD Hot Melt Cartridge Applicator
PAM Fastening Technology introduces an improved hot melt cartridge applicator with a large 3 mm extension nozzle and increased heating in the nozzle block area of the gun for easier spraying or improved extrusion of the adhesive.
Designed for PUR and other thermoset hot melt cartridges, the new PAM 700KD Cartridge Applicator uses an internal heated chamber to hold a 10 oz (310 ml) capacity aluminum cartridge and is available in a spray or extrusion model. The integrated digital LED temperature display and controls have an adjustable operating temperature of 100°F-410°F (40°C-210°C).
With a warmup time of 10 minutes or less, the lightweight PAM 700KD is well suited for a variety of projects. The Extrusion model can be used in areas varying from large surfaces to more precise bead or line applications. The spray applicator quickly and efficiently delivers adhesives with little waste and high accuracy through precise spiral spray patterns.
An automatic temperature reduction system cools the adhesives 100°F for every 20 minutes the system is left unattended. An electronic temperature control and a safety ground terminal add to operator security.
The use of compressed air supply allows for precise control of flow while providing a fine or wide line, bead or spray, depending on your adhesive application requirements.
The one part polyurethane moisture-curing adhesive in the cartridge eliminates metering and mixing and simplifies the production process. Common bonding substrates include wood, plastic, rubber and vinyl.
Technical Specifications
The PAM 700KD weighs 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg), uses 600 Watts of power and has a 5 amp current input. Tank capacity is one 10 oz. (310ml) aluminum cartridge. Normal operating pressure is 29 psi to 87 psi (2 to 6 bar).
